Program Overview

Concordia’s MBA in innovation and entrepreneurship will teach you to think outside the box and use business acumen to transform ideas into reality. Through classroom learning and real-world experience, you’ll gain the practical knowledge and creative mindset you need to become an effective business leader and creator. This online MBA degree is earned from Concordia University Wisconsin.

Graduate Certificate

Post-Baccalaureate students can earn a graduate certificate by selecting four courses within one of the MBA concentration areas or within the MBA core for a total of twelve credits. Students may at any time transition into the MBA degree program course of study through the standard application process.

One of the most exciting parts of innovation is the opportunity to drive positive change in new and exciting ways. Our innovation MBA will help you to do just that. You’ll learn from faculty with hands-on experience and work alongside a diverse student body that will open up new points of view. You’ll also have the chance to receive free business coaching and pitch your own ideas through our CU Launch initiative. Throughout your innovation MBA, our professors will engage you in topics like venture capital, intellectual property rights, and long-term planning strategy. Wherever you are, this program will help you start pursuing the ideas you’re passionate about.

Entrance requirements

An awarded bachelor's degree from an accredited higher-education institution
The MBA program has a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75. (Students below a 2.75 may still be reviewed for consideration.)

Admissions process for graduate school

- Select the Graduate option
One page essay which should include the following:
- Reason for obtaining a graduate degree
- What are your career goals
- Why are you choosing to pursue your degree at Concordia University
Current résumé of your education and employment experience
Two letters of recommendation using this Recommendation Form
Official transcripts from all institutions of higher education

When your application is complete, the file is forwarded to the Admission Committee for review.

Accepted into the program

An official acceptance letter will be emailed to you that will include your Student ID number
An email from your Admissions Counselor will be sent to you with Next-Step details
Password information will be sent separately from the Information Technology office which will provide you access to Blackboard, your Concordia email account, and your student portal
Academic Advising Appointment: Once admitted, you may schedule to meet with your Academic & Career Advisor who will review your degree plan, discuss orientation steps, the CUW student portal, and assist with registering for classes

Graduate entrance exams such as the GRE, are not required
If you have completed graduate level classes in the last seven years and wish to have them evaluated for possible transfer, please contact your admissions counselor for more information
Uncommon Scholarships: If you meet qualifications, please complete an application Uncommon Scholarship
